I have been involved in a growing number of books, and even bringing some classic out of print stuff back to the market.

Forest of Assassins

First on the list is The Forest of Assassins. It is  is an historic thriller set in the earliest days of the American involvement in the Vietnam War. It involved the earliest of Navy SEAL teams. It is set in a time when the NAVY still did not admit these men existed, much less had they determined if those units would survive until the next conflict, or if the experiment would be abandoned.

It can be found on Amazon in Print, Kindle of Audible formats. I run a kindle countdown deal from time to time to make it very affordable for everyone so check it out.

China Bones

Then there is China Bones – The Complete Series. China Bones is the story of a young American Marine in China through the Sino-Japanese War, World War II and the ultimate fall of Shanghai to the Communists in 1949. Zack Cameron finds love and fortune in Shanghai, loses his fortune, and survives a brutal Japanese prison camp only to face even more danger. In a race against time, Zack is forced to put together a desperate treasure hunt amid the confusion of civil war and the Communist takeover of China.

The Last World War Volume 1: Trial by Fission. When Iran finally develops nuclear weapons it triggers the Last World War, and it will forever change the surface of the Earth.

A President impeached. A Vice-President murdered. A relatively unknown Speaker of the House…A mere Congressman elevated to the most powerful office in the Nation, if not the world.

With all of the political chaos in the United States, one of the world’s power hungry regimes decides to play a card it has held close to their chest. Iran unloads five nuclear weapons on targets in the United States and Israel.

With the world on the brink of disaster, with economic, political, and infrastructure problems at home, a young President must rebuild the Nation while navigating a confirmation of a Vice President and getting Congress to approve of new military actions.

What happens when one person stands up to the challenge, to overcome the evil that men do to each other? He stands up against those who will destroy the rest of humanity for whatever mindless reasons they claim justifies such chaos and inhumanity on a global scale. It is a story of survival after an unimaginable disaster and the first of thrilling series that is destined to change the way we think about fighting the wars of the future.

Degrees Book 1: Saving the Earth. In 2030, human civilization is faced with almost certain extermination. Weather patterns have become more extreme. Super storm after super storm pops up without warning. Some cities and even some smaller nations have become uninhabitable. Some say it is a man-made issue, others claim it is natural. To those losing family members, to those whose lives are destroyed, it doesn’t matter what caused it, they only care about how to make it stop.

Degrees Book 1: Saving The Earth, is available on on print, kindle, and now in audiobook.

Laughing at a Military Enlistment. These are the stories of what happens when guys spend too much time together and start to act like, well, guys. These are the times we pranked someone with ether (the anesthetic), the times we made the new Private do things just to see if he would. We hope you enjoy reading them as much as we enjoyed living them.

Toddler Art was so much fun to pull together. This photographic essay shows how Elliot sees the world. These photographs are not touched up, they are exactly as Elliot took them (or in a few cases requested them to be taken). This is his work and his work alone, merely organized by a parent.

The Layman’s Articles of Confederation. The Articles of Confederation were the foundation for the Federal Government in the United States prior to our current Constitutional form. Those Articles are not widely understood and rarely read. The reasons for this are varied but largely spawn from the document being challenging to read. The language is old, it is full of phrases no longer used, and does not follow modern styles. We have written this book for non-lawyers and non-scholars to start to understand this founding document that was, in our opinion, a rough draft for the Constitution of the United States.

The Layman’s United States Constitution. In this book is the original Constitution. The challenge with understanding or interpreting the document is that the language is challenging. It is old and written in a way that makes it difficult to understand. After the original document is broken down article by article, section by section, a modern day language version of the document is provided. Every attempt was made to not change any meaning or have a political slant in this modernization process. The authors of this book have no political agenda. The intent is that people gain a better understanding of these passages in the way it was written.

A Collection of Mother Goose Tongue Twisters and Nursery Rhymes. Mother Goose is best remembered for her Nursery Rhymes. They have entertained children for generations. What she is less well known for, but has also gifted generations of children with, is a large number of tongue twisters. She did these things to help children develop their linguistic skills in a fun way. Many of these classics have been collected here and are offered up in one place for future generations of children to entertain each other with. Also included is a small collection of her famous (and some less well known) nursery rhymes.

A Study in Scarlet with Annotations. The First Sherlock Holmes Mystery. Sherlock Holmes is a detective that needs to introduction. His Mysteries have captivated audiences for over 100 years. A Study in Scarlet is the original. This is where it all began. We are introduced to Holmes, and as a part of the story Watson and Holmes are introduced and proceed to begin their journey. The mystery in this case is a murder that takes us around London and dives into a love triangle as well as various religious aspects of life. We learn about Holmes’ way of reasoning through a crime scene, and his skills are already impressive although inexperienced compared to what comes later. The story is fantastic, and this is where Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was just learning his craft. This book launched a career that has entertained readers for generations and hopefully will entertain audiences into the future. The Annotations in this book are meant to help the modern reader with some of the more dated language. The story in this book appears exactly as it originally did. The annotations are left as footnotes on all of the relevant pages and it is my deepest hope that they add to the enjoyment of the story.

The Sign of the Four with Annotations. The Sign of the Four is the second novel featuring Sherlock Holmes. Throughout his life Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote four novels and in excess of 50 stories starring the famous fictional detective.
This mystery is set in the late 1880s and involves aspects of the Indian Rebellion of 1857, a stolen treasure, and a secret pact amongst four convicts.

This novel is also where we see, for the first time, that Holmes is a drug addict when he isn’t solving crimes and sobers up while working.

The annotations are offered as an aid to the reader with some of the more dated language for this fabulous story. This is truly a classic mystery novel and will be enjoyed for generations to come.

The Hound of the Baskervilles (Annotated). The Hound of the Baskervilles is the third novel featuring Sherlock Holmes. Throughout his life Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote four novels and in excess of 50 stories starring the famous fictional detective.

This mystery is largely set on the Darmoor in Devon, which is in England’s countryside. It tells the story of a family cursed by a legend, the fearsome hound of the Baskervilles, which has a supernatural origin.

Large portions of this novel are told with only Doctor Watson in attendance, but never fear, Sherlock Holmes does return. It is a fantastic read that is challenging to solve without the help of Mr. Holmes and the good Doctor.

The annotations are offered as an aid to the reader with some of the more dated language for this fabulous story. This is truly a classic mystery novel and will be enjoyed for generations to come.

The Valley of Fear (Annotated), A Sherlock Holmes Mystery. Sherlock Holmes decodes a cipher which turns out to be a warning from Moriarty’s organization for one Douglas in Birlstone, but there is only a corpse waiting for the warning. Holmes fixates quickly on some inconsistencies at the murder scene which leads to the Vermissa Valley inside coal country in the United States.

The mystery intertwines the Freemen of Chicago, the old west mountain coal mining areas, the take down of a corrupt group of murders who ran the Freeman Lodge and even a love story.

Will Holmes succeed or will Moriarty prove to be too much for our infamous detective?

The Valley of Fear (Annotated) is now available on

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (Annotated). The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is a collection of twelve short stories. This was the earliest collection of short stories which were originally published in The Strand between 1891 and 1892. These are, as usual, narrated from the perspective of Dr. Watson the close friend and colleague of Sherlock Holmes. It is a masterful way of narrating the story as it puts the reader in the center of the action without getting exactly inside the head of Mr. Holmes which would ruin the surprise.

Sir. Arthur Conan Doyle uses a great deal of 19th Century English jargon and other bits of language that have ceased being used. The annotations in this volume offer up explanations for those so that a new generation of readers can get through the material without guesswork while allowing the original vibrant text to come through. These works are meant to be enjoyed, they have been for more than one hundred years and hopefully will be enjoyed for another few hundred!

The Memoirs of Sherlock Homes (Annotated). The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes is a collection of short stories originally published in 1894 by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The collection holds eleven stories making it in the original form of the American Edition with new annotations meant to make the original aging text more attainable by modern readers.

This book represents one of several works done by Timothy Imholt PhD with the intention of making these aging classics enjoyable to the modern reader.

Concusstitution: Welcome to Football

Football has been around for more than 100 years. It has had it’s fair share of controversies. Concussions are just the most recent of those.

We wanted to show that the league of today is safer than it has ever been, and it is continuing to improve. We also wanted to show that the we didn’t get to where we are overnight, and we won’t fix the problems overnight either.

We give a history of the sport, the evolution onto television, explain the concussion threat, and even show some ways it can be solved. We include as many facts as we can, and also wanted to get a first hand report on the problem so we reached out to some former professionals. Those interviews include: Jim McMahon, Greg McElroy Jr, Howard Richards, Randy White, Coach Bob Ward, and Roger Staubach.
